I am a climate and energy activist, and an emerging urban studies researcher focused on the intersection of energy access, social justice, and sustainable development in the Global South. My research delves into urban dynamics, particularly energy insecurity. With a strong background in urban policy research, advocacy, and climate communication, I address the interconnected challenges of public health, energy access, and climate change through an interdisciplinary approach. As a policy analyst and spokesperson, I have championed progressive climate and energy policies, with a focus on South Africa’s just energy transition and promoting sustainable solutions at both urban and regional levels.
